LIVING AREA

Enter via a porch - perfect for storing those all important golf clubs - into a hallway which leads you into the lounge area. Decorated with Farrow and Ball designs, this chic, contemporary room features a large bay window, smoked glass chandelier and an imposing 46” TV, the perfect space to kick back and enjoy a movie .

There is also a large study on the ground floor complete with desk and printer for those who can’t tear themselves away from work with WiFi access in every room. Shelves full of CDs and DVDs should provide sufficient entertainment for those who prefer to while away the hours doing something significantly less taxing than work!

KITCHEN AND DINING AREA

A large kitchen diner complete with a solid wooden dining table seating six, Sony ipod/Ipad docking station and Nespresso coffee machine makes entertaining a pleasure. To further help you on your way, a rack of 8 bottles of wine adorns the wall for your own personal use. This bright and spacious room is flooded with light from windows leading straight through its connected utility room out into the back garden and patio area. The utility, complete with washer and dryer, is a perfect place to kick of those wellies and an ideal space to put the dog basket -particularly as it’s right next to the treat cupboard!

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

On the first floor a large king sized bedroom is beautifully furnished in soft blues with clean contemporary lines. This room benefits from a large bay window throwing in lots of light and tranquil tones. An ensuite shower room leads off the bedroom complete with Scottish Fine Soaps toiletries for that added touch of luxury. Also on this floor is a generously sized double and two smaller children’s bedrooms, one which has a cabin bed and cot bed and the other which is currently a nursery with cotbed. But the piece de resistance on this floor has to be the family bathroom which is sleek and ultra modern. With its black tiling, silver trims and mirrors, remote controlled candelabra, rain shower and inbuilt TV, this is the height of decadence, perfect for relaxing with that glass of champagne while someone else cooks the dinner!

On the top floor is a huge master bedroom with king size bed with TV, chaise longue and beautiful white slatted wooden shutters overlooking the back garden. This master suite has its own bathroom complete with bath and underfloor heating.

OUTSIDE SPACE

Gullane Grange has a large private garden to the rear of the property and the secluded suntrap to the rear of the garden offers something special . Part decked and part patio, this is an entertaining space with a real wow! Gorgeous cream cushioned rattan furniture seats 8 comfortably and complete with parasol, outdoor patio burner and huge BBQ make this an ideal space for decadent outdoor dining and drinks. Silver lanterns and LED deck lights mean it can be enjoyed well into those long lazy summer evenings. Crack open the champagne and throw that North Berwick lobster on the BBQ for the ultimate gastronomic outdoor experience!

Gullane is an affluent and picturesque village lying less than 45 minutes drive from the centre of Edinburgh. Renowned for its world-class golf courses including Gullane and Muirfield, this is a golfer’s paradise with both courses within walking distance of Gullane Grange. The excellent wide sandy coves of Gullane beach are just a short stroll from the property and you may often spot deer in the dunes or horse galloping along the beach. Along with boutique shops, delicatessens and some fabulous bars and fine dining restaurants Gullane is a perfect retreat for both golfers and families alike. Edinburgh city centre (18 miles) is easily accessible via the A1 dual carriageway. Train stations at nearby Drem and North Berwick link Edinburgh in approximately 30 minutes. The main east coast railway line offers good access to the north and south via a number of commuter and intercity trains. Edinburgh Airport (26 miles) has a range of flights to a number of UK and European destinations.
