LIVING AREA

The front entrance of The Views is unadulterated “Beach Chic”. Bold red and white striped Ralph Laurent wallpaper adorns the walls of the striking hallway, creating a dramatic “beach towel and deckchair” statement for the coastal theme which continues throughout the property.

The living areas are deliberately located at the front of the home to make the most of the incredible sea views. The red and white theme continues into the lounge area where an expansive wall of glass and a perfectly located candy-striped window seat provide the perfect picture window to gaze out to sea. Stoke up the real fire, light the candles, sink back into one of the sumptuous white sofas, pour yourself a glass of wine and delight in the fact that time can stand still for a moment. After all, that’s what holidays are all about!

KITCHEN AND DINING AREA

The open plan kitchen-diner is a wow and makes a dramatic statement of contemporary designer living! Packed with every modern convenience this is an entertaining space extraordinaire! The 8-seater dining table is ideally located to benefit from the wall length expanse of windows and again.....that view to die for. The coastal theme continues with stunning grey granite worktops, red splashbacks and cream wooden units. This kitchen is style personified. An iPod docking station, double range oven with griddle, smoothie maker, wine fridge, American style fridge freezer with ice and water dispenser.....what more could you need? Oh yes, a private chef, but that can be provided too!

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

The 4 bedrooms spread over two floors are connected by a solid oak spiral staircase to a huge master suite on the top floor. Studded downlighters in the wall continue the nautical theme reminiscent of a lighthouse. With the Master Suite’s dual aspect views to the sea to the front and gardens to the rear, this light and spacious kingsize room is a hideaway’s delight. Escape with a good book and relax on the sofa or sink into the sleek freestanding bath with a cool glass of champagne. The ensuite bathroom is the epitome of sleek and chic with its multi jet shower and Scottish Fine Soaps toiletries.

On the lower floor are three other double bedrooms. The front facing twin has panoramic sea views from its 6-windowed bay and with its cool hues of creams and reds it’s clean, fresh and calming. The main bathroom is located just across the corridor and with its marble effect cream tiles, bath and separate rainfall shower it is as decadent as any designer hotel bathroom. The remaining two double bedrooms are both ensuite, one faces onto the back garden and is all fawns and creams with an ensuite rainfall shower and a stylish stone curved pebble wall and cream marble effect tiling. The blue room is to the side of the property and has side views over the golf course to the sea and a beautiful large en-suite shower room with double rainshower. This is a Victorian house and there are differing floor levels at this end of the apartment so you need to be a little careful of your step.

You will be hard-picked to choose your room at The Views, as every room is as luxurious as the next and each has something slightly different to offer. But the high threadcount OKA designer bedlinens and Scottish Fine Soaps toiletries are consistent throughout. Maybe you’ll have to toss a coin to decide who goes where!

OUTSIDE SPACE

The Views is set in expansive communal gardens both front and back. Sloping lawns with beautifully maintained bedding plants frame the vista to the front of the property out over the golf course and to the coast beyond. There is a BBQ and table on the front lawn and if that’s not enough, the “piece de resistance” is easy beach access via a private gate over the 6th fairway of the golf course and onto the golden sands of the mile long Broad Sands Bay beyond. You’ll understand why the Scots coined the phrase “Fore” to warn folk of errant golf shots!

Only 5 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk into the town centre, The Views is located on arguably the most prestigious road in North Berwick. It offers the tranquillity of being just out of the centre but benefits from all the facilities this bustling coastal harbour town has to offer. There is plenty of room in front of the property to unload your car when you arrive and a private road to the side of the property where cars can be parked throughout your stay......we don’t want to spoil the views!!! The Views offers tranquillity at its best where you can while away the hours just relaxing and watching the ever changing scenery. Of course for those with the motivation and the need to feel the sand between your toes, a short stroll to the beach would take less than 5 minutes! Edinburgh city centre (18 miles) is easily accessible via the A1 dual carriageway. Train stations at nearby Drem and North Berwick link Edinburgh in approximately 30 minutes. The main east coast railway line offers good access to the north and south via a number of commuter and intercity trains. Edinburgh Airport (26 miles) has a range of flights to a number of UK and European destinations.
