Tilly’s House is a 3-bedroom townhouse with a prime location on North Berwick High Street. You will be right at home in this beautiful property, which is just one minute from the beach. Tilly’s House is also within easy walking distance of the town’s top attractions, including golf courses, the Scottish Seabird Centre and top-quality restaurants. If you are looking to relax even more during your stay, the property is also 20 minutes from Marine Hotel and Spa.
Tilly’s House was built by Henry & McLean in 1911 for George Fowler, a local businessman. The adjacent sweet shop, Sugar Mountain, was originally part of the house and in 1985 became independent. There is a door in the hallway which goes through to the shop, although it is no longer in use. The property is a former coach house with the courtyard being used for coaches and horses. Today Tilly’s House welcomes self-catering guests for their seaside break to North Berwick and provides all you need for your self-catering trip, including a fully equipped kitchen. Entertainment is also supplied for your stay through a Now TV subscription and Alexa smart speaker.

Occasionally light sleepers may be disturbed by the nearby church bells. If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring some earplugs (or get some in Boots on the High Street).
Book Now
To make a booking you can book directly through this site. All you need to do is select your dates and the number of guests. The price will be calculated for you. You are required to pay a 20% deposit payment with a minimum payment of £250.00 or higher which secures the property, this payment is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Then, 42 days before your arrival date the balance will be payable – after this date the booking will be fully non-refundable.
A £250 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival and refunded after departure.
Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is by 10 am. Access is via a key safe, the instructions for which will be provided within the week of your arrival.

On the ground floor, there is a comfortable sitting room as well as a kitchen and a separate dining room. There is also a downstairs shower room with WC. Follow the sweeping staircase to the first floor where there is a spacious living room, 3 double bedrooms and a family bathroom.
