Designed by renowned Scottish architect Sir James Dunbar-Nasmith, The Secret Walled Garden is a striking example of mid-century modern Scottish architecture, thoughtfully restored with contemporary comforts. It is set within five acres of beautiful and historical walled gardens.
Since 1698, ten generations of the Dalyrmple family have lived in North Berwick and family portraits, heirlooms, busts and portraits within the home highlight the illustrious family provenance. A wonderful talking point for history buffs.
Also, this home is perfect for all the Golf enthusiasts. Located in the very heart of numerous world famous championship courses. Sitting on the coast, not only playing golf but admiring the breath-taking view of the Bass Rock.

The Secret Walled Garden comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests across six individually styled bedrooms - three in the Garden Wing and three in the Cottage Wing - making it ideal for extended families, groups of friends, or executive retreats.
The heart of the home is an expansive, light-filled kitchen and dining area, perfect for gathering and entertaining. A separate drawing room with a baby grand piano, a cosy TV room, and a snooker room offer multiple spaces to relax and reconnect. The layout is predominantly ground floor and includes an accessible suite, making it suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
The home enjoys a prime location with easy access to the charming and ever-popular seaside town of North Berwick, known for its stylish coffee shops, independent boutiques, and top-quality restaurants.
